So here are you, and here am I,
Where we may thank our gods to be;
Above the earth, beneath the sky,
Naked souls alive and free.
The autumn wind goes rustling by
And stirs the stubble at our feet;
Out of the west it whispering blows,
Stops to caress and onward goes,
Bringing its earthy odours sweet.
See with what pride the setting sun
Binglike in gold and purple dies,
And like a robe of rainbow spun
Tinges the earth with shades divine.
That mystic light is in your eyes
And ever in your heart will shine.

De modo que aquí estás, y aquí estoy,
donde debemos dar gracias a nuestros dioses por estar;
sobre la tierra, debajo del cielo,
almas desnudas vivas y libres.
El viento del otoño pasa susurrando
y agita la hojarasca a nuestros pies;
desde el oeste sopla con un murmullo,
se detiene para acariciar y sigue su camino,
llevándose sus dulces perfumes a tierra.
Mira con qué orgullo el sol poniente
muere como un rey rodeado de oro y púrpura,
y cual túnica tejida con arcos iris
tiñe la tierra con sombras sagradas.
Esa luz mística está en tus ojos
y siempre brillará en tu corazón.
