Because what happens will never happen,
and because what has happened
endlessly happens again,
we are as we were, everything
has changed in us, if we speak
of the world
it is only to leave the world
unsaid. Early winter: the yellow apples still
unfallen
in a naked tree, the tracks
of invisible deer
in the first snow, and then the snow
that does not stop. We repent
of nothing. As if we could stand
in this light. As if we could stand in the silence
of this single moment
of light.
NARRATIVA
Porque lo que ocurre nunca ocurrirá,
y porque lo que ha ocurrido
ocurre de nuevo, una y otra vez,
somos quienes fuimos, todo
ha cambiado en nosotros, si hablamos
del mundo
es sólo para dejar el mundo
sin decir. Invierno temprano: las amarillas manzanas
aún no han caído
en un árbol desnudo, las huellas
de ciervos invisibles
en la primera nevada, y después la nieve
que no para de caer. No nos arrepentimos
de nada. Como si pudiéramos estar
bajo esta luz. Como si pudiéramos estar en el silencio
de este único instante
de luz.
